🧺 How to place an order on the Lydie.E shop? (Step-by-step guide)

Have you found a pattern you like? Are you ready to start sewing for babies but wondering how the Lydie.E online shop works?

Here is a simple and quick guide to explain how to place an order, download your files, and start sewing with peace of mind.

🛍️ Step 1: Choose your pattern

On the shop, you will find baby and children's sewing patterns, available for download in PDF format.

You can browse the 2 categories:

• "Baby patterns (3 to 36 months)"
• "Girls' patterns (4 to 14 years)"
  

Each product page contains:

• A detailed description of the model
• The included sizes
• Technical sewing points of the model
  
• Fabric advice and necessary supplies
  
• The content of the PDF file (A4 sheet, instruction booklet, etc.)
• A technical diagram of the model
• Photos of sewn examples

➕ Step 2: Add to cart

Once you have chosen your pattern, click on the “Add to cart” button.

You can continue shopping or go directly to your cart.

To access the cart, you need to:

• check the order: you must read and accept the General Terms and Conditions of Sale to proceed
• log in if you already have an account
• or create an account if this is your first order: fill in your information including your email address (double-check it, this is where you will receive your files!) and your billing address

In the cart, you can:

• delete items
• view the total order amount
  

🧾 Step 3: Review and confirm the order

• Apply a discount code if you have one.
• Choose and complete your secure payment method (Credit card or PayPal)
  
• If you order a free pattern, the message "Your order is free. No payment is required." is automatically displayed instead of the payment method.
• Click on "Review and confirm order"
  
• Click on "Confirm payment"

💡 Good to know: there are no shipping costs since all patterns are available for immediate download.

📩 Step 4: Receive and download patterns

Once payment is validated, you will be taken directly to the order confirmation page with download links for the pattern(s). Click on "download now" to immediately download the ordered pattern(s).

You will also receive by email:

• An automatic order confirmation email
• An automatic email containing your PDF files (remember to check your spam if necessary)

📎 The files are sent as a ZIP file. You will need to:

• unzip this file (right-click > Extract) to access the documents
• open the PDFs with Adobe Acrobat Reader for optimal printing

💬 Frequently Asked Questions

I haven't received my download email
→ Check your spam folder. Otherwise, email me at contact@lydie-e.fr with your name and order number.

Can I find my patterns later?
→ Yes, the patterns are sent by email, you can save them to your computer or USB drive. Remember to keep them safe! Otherwise, email me at contact@lydie-e.fr with your name and order number and I will resend them to you.

What if I'm a beginner?
→ Each pattern contains a step-by-step illustrated guide, sometimes with a video tutorial on my Lydie.E YouTube channel. Everything is designed to help you.
