Discover... the autumn school blouse

The school smock blouse pattern is available in the shop here.
This pattern is a few years old! "Autumn" was released in 2020 and was an immediate success. I think its very timeless style appealed to you. I decided to update the pattern, as I have done for all my old patterns. A few adjustments, additions of sizes, slight modifications, but the pattern as a whole remains similar, and its assembly is unchanged.
Model Features:
Autumn is a blouse, "school smock" style, which can be sewn short or long. It is a blouse with straight long sleeves and a round neckline. You can sew it plain, without a collar, or with a half Peter Pan collar caught in the shoulder seams. The front is closed with a button placket. It features gathers on the front and a box pleat on the back. You can add one or two patch pockets.
Autumn is available from 4 to 14 years old (all 11 sizes are included on the pattern sheet).

Sewing Techniques:
This pattern includes a few technical points:
You obviously need to have basic machine sewing skills.
The gathers seem quite simple to make on this model (they are only on a small part of the two fronts), and if you follow my tips for pretty gathers, you'll see that everything will go well!
In the back, you need to make a box pleat. Again, it's very simple to do!
If your sewing machine doesn't make pretty buttonholes, you can replace the buttons and buttonholes with snap fasteners.
Some finishing touches need to be done by hand (and frankly, take the time to do them this way, the result will be much prettier).
If you're not sure you can sew this blouse, I recommend checking out this illustrated tutorial on the blog. You'll see that by taking your time, this pattern is accessible!
PDF Pattern Presentation:
The pattern is available in PDF format only. It is delivered in ZIP format (grouping the PDF files), to download and print at home. You will find all the information about this in the pattern description on the website as well as in the "frequently asked questions".
The pattern is full-size and includes 24 pages (A4) to assemble: I have divided the pattern into two so that it is easier to handle. You therefore receive two files (one of 15 pages and one of 9 pages). The detailed and illustrated instruction sheet with diagrams includes 10 pages.
Seam allowances are included. They are 1 cm.
The A4 pattern includes layers. You can therefore select the size(s) you wish to print.
And in addition to the A4 pattern, you receive the A0 format that you can have printed at your printer.

Fabric Choice:
The pattern is designed for woven fabric. It is suitable for all seasons.
For example, you can choose cotton (poplin or batiste), chambray, or linen for a light version that will be comfortable to wear all year round.
For autumn/winter, you can sew the blouse in cotton twill, gabardine, denim, or velvet...
You can add piping between the top and bottom of the blouse. You can also add it along the button placket (or lace as in the previous photo)
The list of necessary supplies is available here, you can download and print it.
