my pretty "pouch" patterns

I am very happy to be able to offer you my patterns in "pouch" format starting this December.

I don't yet know if the patterns that are currently being updated and new ones will be offered in this format, as it requires additional work for each model and logistics that PDF patterns don't require.

In the meantime, I invite you to find the answers here to the questions you've asked me about the pouch patterns. And I will update this article as you ask additional questions.

What does my pouch pattern contain?

You receive it in a pretty mustard-toned cardboard pouch, pouches that I enjoyed personalizing (each model has a different pouch). Inside the pouch is a full-size pattern and a "step-by-step" booklet.

What will I find in the booklet?

In the first few pages of the booklet, I give you advice for choosing the size to sew, including the child's measurement chart, fabric advice, the cutting plan, pieces to cut, etc... Then, I present the step-by-step instructions illustrated with diagrams that detail the steps for making the model.

Is the pattern easy to read?

Yes! The pattern is full-size. The pieces do not overlap, and each size is represented in a different color and line. This makes tracing the pattern very easy.

What sizes are included in the pattern?

"Children's" patterns are now available in 11 sizes, from 4 to 14 years. All 11 sizes are included in the pattern.

Do I need to add seam allowances?

No, seam allowances are included. They are 1 cm. And hem allowances are included and specified for each model.

How does an order work?

In the "my pouch patterns" section, you choose the pattern(s) you want. Please fill in the correct postal address where you want the pattern to be sent. Please note that, for shipping cost reasons, delivery is only possible in France.

After payment of the order, I will send them to you via tracked green letter within 3 working days.

What if I get stuck while making the model?

On my blog, I offer photo-illustrated tutorials that revisit the step-by-step of certain models and tutorials explaining certain technical points. They should help you understand and continue your current sewing project. If not, contact me by email (contact@louandmecouture.fr) and I will try to help you!

I hope I have answered your questions here. If not, a quick message and I will gladly reply!
