Long sleeves, a round neckline, with or without a Peter Pan collar incorporated into the shoulder seams, a button placket and gathers on the front, a box pleat on the back, patch pockets... a lovely classic and timeless piece.

Fabric recommendation:

I recommend a woven fabric. For example, cotton (poplin or batiste), chambray, or linen for a light version.
For autumn-winter, choose cotton twill, gabardine, denim, corduroy...
